Our life is not lived in a silo.
Why should we treat our bodies that way?
Self-Propelled Heatlh was created from a vision to provide personalized, person-centered health care that addresses health of the whole person aka "WHOLISTIC" health.
With a goal to find balance in all aspects of health, we start by supporting you through identifying and removing barriers to achieving whole health -- whether this is through medical management (medications) or exercise/nutrition therapy or behavioural therapies, our team united with a commitment to offer a space where your wellness is prioritized, ensuring a holistic and compassionate experience for every person who finds their way to us.
Dr C. Remi "Remi"
Nurse Practitioner (NP) DNP- UMass, MN-ANP, Dip ACLM Lifestyle Prevention medicine and Women's health focused, ADHD certified specialist
My practice grew from a longstanding commitment to supporting individuals whose experiences echo challenges I’ve encountered in my own life. Early on, my symptoms were often overlooked or attributed to circumstance-minimized or misunderstood—profoundly impacting every aspect of my life.
These experiences have shaped both my clinical lens and my philosophy of care. They inform my commitment to creating a space where individuals feel validated, understood, and supported as they navigate ADHD, hormonal transitions, or both.
Although my early career was rooted in the fast‑paced environment of Emergency Medicine, my professional focus evolved as I recognized the relevance and impact of these interconnected areas on long‑term health and quality of life.
Today, my work centers on helping people understand how challenges such as ADHD and hormonal changes influence attention, energy, mood, relationships, and overall wellbeing. When we can identify the patterns beneath our experiences, we gain the clarity needed to work with our biology rather than against it.
My role is to help you explore what’s happening beneath the surface, identify meaningful supports, and develop strategies that align with your strengths, your story, and your stage of life. There is a path forward—and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Alexis Brooks
Client Care Coordinator
I support you by coordinating your care, directing communication and resources and reducing barriers to care. My goal is to create a smoother, more organized and responsive health care experience.
As someone with ADHD, I bring both lived understanding and practical, practiced, learned behaviours to my role. I am passionate about helping those I meet feel supported, informed and empowered as they navigate their way toward wholistic mind-body health and ADHD/mid-life care.
